Asalaam o alaikum Brothers and Sisters!
I recently had a meeting with the imam of Masjid Taqwa in Kissimmee. He has agreed to teach us based on the topics we’re interested in, starting this year in Ramadan, insha allah. Either he or another qualified teacher will be teaching us.
I’ve taken the initiative to put together a syllabus for our halaqa — but I need your help! We can’t conduct a halaqa(s) until the imam knows what we’re interested in learning about.
Whatever you’re interested in or have questions about — whether that be salah, wudu, hijab, hajj, aqeedah, the attributes of Allah (SWT), the prophets (PBUH), the sahaba, hadith, arabic, tafseer, please comment on this post and list it below. It can be in the form of questions or a bulleted list — whatever you’re more comfortable with.
Once we’ve compiled a list of topics/questions online, I will take it, delete all the duplicate topics and send the imam one list, with the topics put into categories (salah, quran, arabic, etc) so we can put together a series of halaqas over the course of a few months that will insha allah benefit all of us. Then I will send you a schedule of times, classes, what will be discussed, where, and when so you can join us at your convenience. All in all, our goal is to become ‘ilm seekers for the pleasure of Allah (SWT). May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts!
WHAT NEXT?
Write your list of topics/questions in the comment section. Please leave your email address so I can send you the completed syllabus.
If you’re on Facebook — just leave your comment below, underneath this note.

Jazakallah khairun for your input! I’ll keep you updated about the study circles insha allah!
